The rooibos base keeps this from tasting bitter even when I forget it steeping for ten minutes. Almond note comes through warm and toasty, more like marzipan than extract. Already on my second tin.

I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth this rooibos blend is — the nutty almond flavor doesn't overpower, and I've been enjoying it as an evening treat without any caffeine jitters.

The almond note comes through without any fake syrupy aftertaste, which is rare for flavored rooibos. I've been brewing a big mug of this most nights and it's smooth enough that I forget it's caffeine free.
