アールグレイ、ルイボス

I was skeptical about the rooibos base, but it adds such a sweet, earthy depth that mellows the bergamot beautifully. The loose leaves brew up a smooth, full-bodied cup that I keep going back to.

The bergamot is perfectly balanced against that sweet, earthy rooibos base—smooth enough for an afternoon cup without any bitterness. I've been brewing it a little longer than usual and it still stays mellow, which is exactly what I wanted from a caffeine-free twist on a classic.

I was curious how the rooibos would change the classic profile, and it's actually perfect — the sweetness balances the bergamot beautifully. Steeps a gorgeous deep red and makes a comforting afternoon cup.
