Mim Estate, 2nd Flush (Darjeeling)

I brewed this at 200°F for three minutes and got a really smooth cup with almost no astringency, which surprised me for a second flush. The black currant note shows up more as it cools. This has become my regular afternoon pot.

The second flush has that muscatel thing going on without being too astringent, which I appreciate since I drink it without milk. I get the black currant note people mention, especially as it cools a bit. Three minutes in the pot is about right for me.
