Rooibos Scoppio di Mirtilli

Wasn't sure a blueberry tea could taste this juicy without any added sugar, but the wild blueberry flavor really comes through. Rooibos keeps it mellow underneath, so it's not tart or fake tasting at all. Been drinking it iced in the afternoons and it's become my favorite part of the day.

I steep this rooibos for about five minutes and the blueberry smell fills the whole kitchen before I even take a sip. It's naturally sweet on its own so I stopped adding honey, and it doesn't get bitter if I forget and leave the leaves in longer.

Rooibos base keeps it mellow instead of tart, which I like since straight blueberry teas can get sour. Only complaint is the blueberry pieces settle to the bottom of the tin, so give it a stir before scooping. Solid evening cup.
